Lord Amory

After over a decade of service as the HQ of the Docklands Scout Project, ALT8V were invited to restore her over the Olympic Games period.
Originally built in 1950 as a Dutch coast guard and pilot vessel called Algol., she has since 1981 she known been known as the Lord Amory and is the headquarters of the Docklands Scout Project based in West India Dock.
The DSP specialize in providing Water Activities, Open Days and formal training courses to youth groups and adults involved in organisations such as Scouts, Guides, Cadets.
During the London 2012 Olympics the ship was taken out of service as the world's most exclusive fleet of Super yachts moored into West India dock.
Over a 7 week period ALT8V were invited to begin the vast task of redecorating and restoring the majority of the 80 interior berths, 9 staircases and 5 fire escapes.
